(Q) What are the general requirements to hire a car?

(A) All drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year and more than 23 years old.

(Q) Can anyone else other than myself drive the car?

(A) Only drivers mentioned in the rental agreement are allowed to drive a Sun Rent A Car vehicle.

(Q) Does Sun Rent A Car allow Additional Drivers?

(A) Yes, you may add an additional driver onto your rental agreement.  This must be done at the time of rental.  The additional driver must present a valid driving licence at time of rent.

(Q) How much does it cost to add an additional driver?

(A) In our company the second driver is free of charge.

(Q) What deposits must be paid?

(A) All the booking must prepaid 50 % of the total charge.

About your online reservation

(Q) How can I book a car on

(A) Start by filing in the required information in the "Make a Reservation" found in the home page. These are:

• Pick-up and return date and time.
• The pick-up Sun Rent A Car location. If the return location is different, please select the location.
• The type of car you’d like to rent.

On the second step, choose your preferred vehicle category and payment method and complete your reservation by filling in your personal data and credit card details.

(Q) Can I choose a particular car brand or model?

(A) Bookings are subject to a specific car group, which includes several different car models with similar features. You can ask for a specific model during the pick-up, whether it is available.

(Q) What is the minimum/maximum period for a car rental on

(A) The minimum is 1 day and the maximum is inlimited.

(Q) Which cards are accepted?

(A) Visa, Mastercard and American Express debit and credit cards are accepted. We do not accept prepaid cards. 

(Q) Will I receive a confirmation for my reservation?

(A) Upon succesfull completion of your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email on the address you provided during your reservation. 

(Q) Can I change my reservation? Is there a charge?

(A) Of course you can change your reservations it depend always about the availability of the car and It's free of charge.

(Q) Can I cancel my reservation? Is there a charge?

(A) You can cancel your booking but we will keep the 50% beacuse of the cancelation. Only in case of serious problem you will be refuned the total ammount.

(Q) What happens if I do not show up on the specified pick-up date and time? Is there a charge?

(A) In case you do not show-up on the pick-up time that you provided during your reservation, with no prior written notification, Sun Rent A Car has the right to cancel your booking after the end of a 4 hours grace period. We will keep the 50% with no refund.

(Q) Can I use a credit card to make a reservation that I am not the cardholder?

(A) No. In order to pick up the reserved vehicle, the card holder must present the card under which the reservation was made. The card holder will appear as the driver on the rental agreement.

(Q) Can I tow with a Sun Rent A Car car?

(A) No. Towing is a violation of the rental agreement and is not permitted under any circumstances. 

(Q) What happens if I drop the car at a different location other than indicated?

(A) When you change the return location a higher rate may apply. Please contact our Office for details.

(Q) What is the policy on off-road driving?

(A) Sun Rent A car vehicles, including 4-wheel drives, are to be operated only on regularly maintained roads. Off-road use is in violation of the rental agreement.

(Q) Can I remove the seats from the vehicle?

(A) No, you are not allowed to remove any of the seats of the car.

(Q) What happens if I return the car late?

(A) There is a 1 hour grace period. After the grace period has expired a full day’s charge will apply.

(Q) What happens if I return the car earlier?

(A) In the case you return the car earlier than the agreed delivery date, there will be no refund.

(Q) What if I have a problem with the car?

(A) If you should have the misfortune to suffer a breakdown, you should immediately contact our mobile (available 24/7).

(Q) What if I have an accident?

(A) You should contact our mobile immediately (available 24/7) and we will call the police for you and you should provide them the contract.

(Q) May I travel abroad with the vehicle I have rented and what are the relevant formalities?

(A) In any case you can't takke our company car abroad.

(Q) If I accept the CDW am I covered for any loss that may arise?

(A) No, there are exceptions for damages which are not covered by any insurance. Such cases are single damages to the lower part of the vehicle, wheels and tires. Also not covered are damages due to driving on an improper road surface, towing another vehicle, transfer of explosives, rallying, etc.
